Our history
Our Journey: From Turin to Global Leadership in Automated Solutions
Founded in 1975, FATA Automation has built a longstanding reputation as a leading designer, manufacturer, and installer of advanced material handling systems. Originally established to support the growing demand for automated solutions within industrial environments, FATA Automation quickly became recognised for engineering excellence and innovation.
Over the decades, FATA Automation has expanded its reach, working across a wide range of sectors including automotive, manufacturing, logistics, and warehousing. The company became a key partner to major global brands such as Nissan, BMW, Kellogg’s, Worcester Bosch, and many others, providing tailored systems that meet the highest performance and safety standards.
In 2009 FATA Automation became part of the CIEMMADA Group, a move that further strengthened its international presence and allowed greater collaboration with engineering teams across Europe and beyond. This partnership has enabled FATA Automation to continue evolving its capabilities, investing in in-house R&D, and developing next-generation systems like battery-free AGVs and smart warehouse automation.
Today, FATA Automation is part of the CIEMMADA Group, a leading European supplier of automated materials handling and storage systems.
